Activities available during your stay

Activities

During your stay, you will have exclusive use of all facilities, beautiful lawns and even a walled garden. The five acres of grounds include grassed courts for volleyball, tennis and badminton. There is even an area for 5 a-side or other wide games. Inside the Games Room are plenty of activities to keep you busy including table tennis, pool, air hockey and table football. There is a solar heated swimming pool on site (accessible from Easter to September) which many groups enjoy during the summer months. Whatsmore, there is a secluded fire pit area with a large gas barbecue and wooden seating that provides an ideal spot to gather your group.

Hot Tub

A six person hot tub is available for you to enjoy during your stay — the perfect way to relax after a day of activities or exploring the Welsh countryside.

Badminton

Grab a racquet and enjoy a game of badminton on the beautiful lawns at Pentrenant Hall. With nets set up and plenty of space, it's the perfect way to get everyone involved in a friendly match.

Tennis

Enjoy a game of tennis on our court set within the beautiful walled garden. Nets and markings are in place, making it easy to get a match going during your stay.

Activity Suggestions

Over the years, guests have enjoyed a wide variety of activities. These include water slides, bouncy castles, laser tag games, obstacle courses, team games, archery and more. The grounds are adaptable and there should be plenty of space to create your own programme.

Hiking in the area

Pentrenant Hall Christian Holiday Centre is in a beautiful part of Wales; this is a landscape steeped in history with views of rolling farmland and plenty of opportunity for walks that will take you off the beaten track. Offa’s Dyke and The Kerry Ridgeway are both approx one mile away. Other local areas to walk are in the Churchstoke hills (5 miles away), Stiperstones nature reserve (14 miles) and The Long Mynd (14 miles). There are many castles nearby which are well worth a visit such as Montgomery Castle (5 miles away) and Powis Castle, near Welshpool (12 miles).
